SNIPER’S EDGE HOCKEY CONTINUES TO EXPAND TEAM; APPOINTS AMY BUDDE NEW COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Minneapolis, MN - Sniper’s Edge Hockey, Inc. is excited to announce the hiring of a Communications Manager, Amy Budde. In this role, Budde will oversee the hockey brand’s social media efforts, contribute and coordinate proprietary training content to help its customers perform better on and off ice, and assist in other areas of communication and marketing. Previously Budde worked in communications and social media for Autoliv, a global automotive safety company, for lunch.co, a food-sharing start-up, both of which were in Sweden. Budde earned her degree from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL.

Notably, Budde also made news this week by signing a professional hockey contract to play with the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) for the 2021-2022 winter season (https://beauts.nwhl.zone/news/beauts-sign-forward-amy-budde). The NWHL is the largest professional women’s hockey league in North America. Prior to signing with the Beauts, Budde played two years of professional hockey in Sweden, and four years at Lake Forest College where she was named captain, All-American, among other accolades. Budde also spent years as a training professional at one of the premier hockey training centers in Minnesota.

In other news, Sniper’s Edge also welcomes to its team Peter Engelking as a summer intern. Engelking is currently a student at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, where he is majoring in business and plays on the club hockey team. Peter played high school hockey in Edina, MN.
