Scoring goals is something every hockey player strives for each time they are on the ice. Shooting the hockey puck can be accomplished in several ways. If there is one shot you’ll need to master, it’s the snapshot.

The hockey snap shot is the most used shooting technique at the older youth levels, college, and professional hockey.  This shot selection is for when players get stronger, so you won’t see many young players taking snapshots.  At the younger age level, they are working on mastering the wrist shot.  As you physically mature, you’ll eventually arrive at snapshot hockey town.

For this post, I think it’s easier for me to explain how to take a snap shot visually, so I created a short video that will give you step-by-step instructions.  Thanks for stopping by and remember to Work Hard and Dream Bigger than Everyone Else!!
